Location
Sanctuary Chobe Chilwero is located on the border of the Chobe National Park, the second largest national park in Botswana.

Spa
The perfect place to relax after a day of game viewing, the Spa offers a range of soothing treatments. Facilities include an indoor spa bath, vichy showers, hydrotherapy pool, plunge pool, relaxation area and private treatment rooms; one of which is perched in the tree tops.
Fishing excursions
Guests can expect to catch fish such as bream and tigerfish, with all fishing done on a catch and release basis. Included is the use of the boat and fishing equipment for 3 hours. Maximum of 3 people per boat and subject to availability.
Tour of Victoria Falls
An hour and a half drive away, guests can enjoy a tour through the rainforest and viewing points of the Victoria Falls, followed by shopping at the open-air markets.

Breakfast & Lunch
Following a full English or continental breakfast you will then depart on a morning game drive, with a choice of home-made pizza or a three course meal available for lunch when you return. Afternoon tea is then served to the backdrop of the Chobe River before you continue on an afternoon game drive.
Dinner
In the evening savour exquisite cuisine at the hilltop lodge as you admire panoramic views of the Chobe River. After a signature dish of Botswana beef fillet served with seasonal vegetables, treat yourself to fresh chocolate brownies and wine from the temperature controlled cellar - which houses a large variety of the finest South African wines. Vegeterian dishes are also available.

Safari
Guests at Sanctuary Chobe Chilwero can enjoy game drives, photographic cruise safaris and sundowner cruise safaris.
Game drives
Led by highly qualified guides, game drives are carried out in customised open 4x4 vehicles and can be enjoyed either in the morning or afternoon. Chobe National Park is home to an estimated 70,000 elephants, said to be the highest population of elephants in Africa.
Photographic cruise safaris
Seating up to 18 guests in 360 degree swivel seats, the safari boat offers a unique way to experience Chobe and provides excellent photograph opportunities. The upper deck of the boat reveals a superb vantage point of the river and wildlife, whilst the lower deck offers a relaxed atmosphere with its bar area.
Sundowner cruise safaris
End your day with a cocktail on one of these specially designed riverboats as you watch the sunset over the Chobe River. In the cooler evenings you may be able to see buffalos up close as they come out of the shade to graze or elephants as they wade in the river.
