Surrounded by a formal garden and the Grand Canal, the hotel lies just behind St Mark’s Square and is surrounded by the smartest boutiques and museums in town.
Guests can arrive directly at Bauer Il Palazzo on the Grand Canal side by its own private boat. A private water taxi from Venice Marco Polo Airport directly to the Bauer Il Palazzo dock takes about 40 minutes.The only place in Venice where you can drive is Piazzale Roma and this also the closest area to the hotel reachable by car.
