When it comes to the world of luxury cruising, Seabourn sets the gold standard. After all, this is no ordinary fleet – Seabourn cruises combine ultra-luxury with thrilling expeditions, promising each and every guest an experience that’s as refined and lavish as it is adventurous.
Whether you’re gliding through polar waters on an ice-strengthened ship or tucking into caviar and champagne on a secluded and sunkissed beach, every Seabourn voyage is the finest blend of comfort, exclusivity, and world-class discovery.
Forget small cabins and obstructed views – every suite on board every Seabourn ship is an oceanfront sanctuary. As most also feature private verandas, these suites are designed for those who appreciate space, light, and elegance. And it’s not just about the aesthetics – Seabourn’s service is where the magic really happens. From the moment you step aboard, your preferences are remembered. Love a particular vintage of wine? Prefer your pillows a certain way? The attentive crew makes it happen, guaranteeing a truly bespoke experience at sea.

Seabourn makes all-inclusive look like an art form. Premium spirits and fine wines flow freely, world-class, gourmet dining is complimentary across all venues, and your in-suite minibar is stocked exactly to your liking. Even gratuities are included, because true luxury means never having to think about a bill of any kind. The experience begins the moment you arrive with a chilled glass of champagne, which perfectly sets the tone for a sailing where every detail is pre-empted, considered, and effortlessly taken care of.
Seabourn’s attention to detail extends beyond the ship, as even on shore you’ll enjoy experiences that can’t be found elsewhere. Take Caviar in the Surf® for instance. This decadent dining experience sees you stepping onto a powder-soft beach where uniformed staff wade into the surf, serving fresh caviar and chilled champagne from a floating surfboard bar. It’s decadence with a wonderfully tropical twist. Then there’s ‘Evening at Ephesus’, an exclusive after-hours event at ancient ruins, or ‘Shopping with the Chef’, where guests join Seabourn’s culinary experts in the best local markets. These events take place in select locations (so enquire for more details), but they’re all moments that redefine what luxury travel can be.

Seabourn isn’t only about classic luxury cruising, it’s also one of the best ways to explore the world’s most remote corners without sacrificing comfort. The expedition fleet, including Seabourn Venture and Seabourn Pursuit, transport guests to the Arctic, Antarctica, the Amazon, and beyond in complete style and comfort.
What sets these expedition cruises apart? First, the ships are built for adventure. With PC6 ice-strengthened hulls, they can smoothly and safely navigate waters that larger ships can’t. Second, the onboard team is exceptional – a handpicked group of 23 world-class experts, from marine biologists to veteran explorers, that lead guided Zodiac® cruises, nature walks, and even submarine dives. Seabourn’s custom-built, six-guest submarines take exploration to a whole new level, granting a rare glimpse of the deep but beautiful unknown.
Because Seabourn’s ships are more intimate than those of many other luxury lines, they can dock in ports that larger vessels simply can’t reach. This means more authentic, off-the-beaten-path experiences. You might be stepping ashore onto a remote island few travellers have ever had the privilege of visiting, you might be gliding through pond-still fjords without another ship in sight, or you might be exploring vibrant towns where mass tourism hasn’t left its mark. With handcrafted itineraries designed to go deeper into the heart of each destination, Seabourn challenges the bounds of what a cruise experience can be.

As with all luxury cruise lines, onboard dining is a serious affair. The Seabourn difference? Collaboration with some of the world’s most celebrated chefs to create menus that wouldn’t be out of place in Michelin-starred establishments. All dining venues are included, so you can enjoy everything from sushi to steak without concern for the cost. And with open seating, you can dine whenever and with whomever you choose – because flexibility is another hallmark of luxury.

Seabourn’s intimate ships create a relaxed yet refined ambiance. With a high staff-to-guest ratio, every guest enjoys a level of attention that feels effortless and intuitive – you will be entirely taken care of. Whether it’s guidance towards the best shore excursion to meet your needs, wishes and passions, a sommelier suggesting the perfect pairing for your meal, or a waiter remembering the way you like your morning coffee, the service is seamless, warm, and deeply personalised.
For those seeking a deeper connection with the destinations they visit, Seabourn offers Ventures by Seabourn®, a series of immersive shore excursions. Hike through ancient rainforests, kayak alongside icebergs, or snorkel in crystal-clear waters, all under the guidance of experts who bring these experiences to life. And when you return to the ship? Perhaps it’s time for a soak in the whirlpool, a spa treatment, or a sunset cocktail on deck.

Expedition cruising can conjure images of rugged conditions, but Seabourn erases these visions. Their fleet of spectacular ships bring five-star luxury to the ends of the earth, proving that adventure and indulgence can go hand in hand. With Seabourn you’ll be wrapping up an Antarctic zodiac adventure with a deep tissue massage in the spa, or cooling down after a day exploring the Kimberleys with chilled champagne on deck. Even at the world’s wildest frontiers, Seabourn ensures you travel in absolute style.
Seabourn cruises see all the little details taken care of. Complimentary Wi-Fi powered by SpaceX’s Starlink keeps you connected, while expert-led talks and Seabourn Conversations® (held with chefs, scholars, performers and experts from all fields) enrich your journey with fascinating insights.

Seabourn elevates every moment of every great journey. Whether you’re tucking into caviar in the surf, exploring the polar regions in a submarine, or indulging in fine dining at sea, every moment is made for modern travellers who love to explore with a side of luxury.
If you’re looking for an expedition cruise that doesn’t compromise on the finer things in life, Seabourn is, quite simply, the best way to explore the world.

Yes, Seabourn is a luxury cruise line that offers high end experiences. Each ship has a private yacht-like atmosphere designed by iconic hospitality atelier Tihany Design. The all-inclusive aspect features complimentary premium spirits and fine wines, complimentary caviar, and complimentary champagne.
While Seabourn cruise ships have no programmes for children - in the way of dedicated activities or kids clubs - children and teenagers are welcome on board. We don’t recommend this cruise line for families with young children, but mature teens may love the chance to explore with and enjoy the company of adults, and to get pampered in the process.
