The weather in Lanzarote remains fairly consistent year-round, with temperatures dipping to the mid-teens in the winter months, and peaking in the late twenties in the height of summer.
The most popular time to visit is June, July and August, however, spring and autumn are also two excellent seasons for a holiday. In the warmest months, sirocco winds from Africa can raise the temperature significantly - so pool access is a must!
Luxury beach resorts and hotels in Lanzarote are equipped to offer a variety of culinary experiences. You’ll dine at buffet and à la carte restaurants, sampling food inspired by a number of global cuisines, including the traditional fare of the Canary Islands.
In the local restaurants you can try out classic dishes such as papas arrugadas con mojo picón – “wrinkled” potatoes served with a spicy sauce. Lanzarote is also home to numerous vineyards which thrive in the volcanic ash, so make sure you try some of the local wines.
