A member of the Small Luxury Hotels of the World, this elegant hotel reflects the history of Mauritius and the Bel Ombre region. Designed as a village of 20 villas, including butler service in all suites, and many overlooking the gardens or the beach from balconies or terraces. The hotel has 1km of beach which offers guests water sports activities that include: kayaking, windsurfing, snorkelling and glass bottom boat trips. On dry land there is tennis, golf, mountain biking and beach games. The spa has a sauna and hammam and there is also a fully equipped fitness centre and for something relaxing try Yoga or Reiki. The three kids’ clubs offer activities for ages 3 – 11, teens age 12 – 17 and babies or toddlers under the age of 3. There are many dining options available at the Heritage Le Telfair or sister hotel the Heritage Awali so guests can choose from Mauritian, Mediterranean, British or French cuisine.
In November 2024, Heritage Le Telfair will also unveil a new Adult Only Zone - a set of suites centred around a seasonally heated swimming pool. Within this area, guests will find a variety of room categories tailored to their preferences, plus a host of benefits: espresso machines in all suites with a box of capsules replenished daily, free Resident Host service, poolside Butler Service, priority access to the swimming pool, and the Tiki Bar located on the beach next to the Adult Only Zone.

The LUX* Belle Mare is a member of the renowned LUX Resorts & Hotels group and is situated on the east coast of Mauritius overlooking the Indian Ocean.
