There’s an almost heroic pride with which the Catalan population describe their capital that makes you truly feel how special this place is. It's the must-see attraction of Barcelona and it's technically unfinished, which speaks highly of its beauty. With rich, decorative spires and ornate, sculpted facades, the Sagrada Familia is unlike any other building in the world.
You'll find lots of beaches in Barcelona, but only one Barceloneta Beach. It's perhaps the finest and closest beach in the city. Take a stroll along the crescent of soft golden sand and relax in the sun. Go for a swim in the turquoise sea or try an activity like windsurfing.
The Picasso Museum is home to one of the largest collections of art by Pablo Picasso. Walk the museum and explore over 4,000 works by the world-famous painter. Discover family portraits, landscape paintings and Cubist artworks. Be sure to see Picasso's personal interpretation of Velazquez's Las Meninas, too.
